This year, let me talk about what I'M thankful for:

Matt finally starting his new "Ask Matt!" blog to reduce turn-around time on Q & A.

I'm also happy to announce the movement of "Jerkin' Tales" to its new home on the post board, for easier rating and commenting on our great collection of stories. It's all about efficiency people!

In sad news, however, the website is STILL unavailable to people who use AOL. I don't know why this is, but I do know it's happened in the past. Not being particularly web savvy, I contacted our webhost who said it was a problem on AOL's end... cache, DNS... something like that. I simply do not know how to fix it. If you're an AOL user, however, you should still be able to read this blog, and so I suggest maybe trying with a "standalone" browser outside of the AOL program - internet explorer, netscape, firefox, etc. I know many people have DSL and Cable connections these days, so just load up the browser outside of AOL and that should work.

Well, I'm off to get ready. Got to make a pie for today's dinner! Have fun you guys!

Happy Labor Day from Brendan and Matt!

I never quite liked how a day known as "Labor" day is supposed to be a day of rest, the beach, barbecues, etc. It should be called, "Rest" day. We don't "not" pay taxes on "Tax day." Oh, and Matt wants to remind remind everyone that today marks the end of the summer fashion season in the United States. This means NO MORE WHITE pants, shorts, man capris, or shoes (except sneakers) until next year.

Have fun guys, we're off to the beach (the normal beach, unfortunately, with our "normal" group of friends that don't "do" the nude beach!). I just know it's gonna be crazy crowded...

Summer Recap

So I basically have been M.I.A. for the entire summer, and geez, there is so much to talk about!

Matt and I started the summer off right by going to Gay Days in Orlando. We went to Epcot, the Gay Days pavilion, and Parliament House. I must admit that the horn dog in me enjoyed the foam party at Parliament House the most. I'm not gonna say much more about THAT, but you can use your imagination: dozens and dozens of guys in just their underwear and/or towels with nothing else underneath, surrounded by foam........ let's just say I'm DEFINITELY going again next year!

Matt and I also met this cute Brazilian guy in the foam party with a beercan thick cock. He took us back to his hotel room afterwards and we messed around. Wouldn't it be cool if next year a bunch of JOBuds members could get together?

For the Forth of July, Matt and I went down to Haulover Beach is Miami. The North end of the beach is a "nudist" beach, and though it took a bit of coaxing to get Matt to undress in public (I pretty much have no shame, lol), we ended up sunbathing in the nude, and enjoying the clear warm waters. There was a mixed crowd, and surprisingly, quite a few hot guys as well on display in all their glory. It was MOSTLY guys of all races, ages, and types, but there were in fact a good amount of women.

I plan on going down there at least one more time this year. The best times to go are supposedly on the weekends, between 11AM and 2PM. Unfortunately we got rained out on the 4th of July after only an hour or so, but I recommend a trip to Haulover if any of you are ever in the Miami area and are feeling a bit adventurous! One guy on the beach might have been TOO adventurous, as Matt and I observed him get a hardon and play with himself right there on the beach! He tried to hide it, but by this point, we're pretty much experts on dudes jacking off, lol.

Well gentlemen (and, as I've come to find out, a couple of ladies as well!), I am officially BACK in the blogging mode. My hiatus this past summer has only been partly on account of lack of ambition. I actually forgot my blogger username and password, and I thought all my "lost password" e-mails weren't getting through. In reality, they were all going to the "SPAM" folder! Oh well, back in business! Hopefully I'll be able to update with more regularity.

Coincidentally, a lot of e-mail from Jerkoffbuds users ends up in the SPAM folder. If you don't receive a response from either Matt or I, it's usually because we never receive the e-mail! We're working on moving over to a different e-mail account, however, so hopefully in the future we won't have these problems!

Ok, so apparently something must have happened with the web server requiring some kind of backup or restoration. The only problem, however, is that the reset seems to have lost everything, all updates, picture uploads, membership registrations, comments made after March 18th!!!! That's like half a month GONE!!! I'm contacting the webhost to see if anything can be done..... but be prepared to re-upload pics if you've posted since March 18th and now find those pics gone!

I really can't believe it. Sorry for the inconvenience folks!!

Just Jerkin' Around?

Ok, so it's been a loooong time since I've posted. I promise, I have good reason for my hiatus! I haven't just been playing with myself all this time, neglecting my duties to the site (I mean, I HAVE been playing with myself.... more than I probably should.... but not enough to excuse my laziness). In case you haven't noticed, however, I've been working behind the scenes trying to keep everything tidy and in order for your enjoyment!! In fact, in the offchance it never occurred to you, jerkoffbuds.com now has over 9100 registered community members and over 18,300 FREE pics to peruse on top of our webcams, stories, and other offerings? Go check it out if you haven't noticed! I just posted a new story yesterday from a user and Matt recently updated AskMatt. Did I mention this was free? Yeah. Who loves ya baby?

So basically, things have been chugging along relatively smoothly, and we have for now found ways to avert the worst of the financial crisis I wrote about in my last blog entry for now with the donations system and a couple of new sponsors, so THAT has made me (and I'm sure many of you horny bastards out there) quite happy! Let's cross our fingers and hope for no more unpleasant surprises or excitement in THAT respect!

One bit of life excitement that DID happen during Spring Break a week or so ago, however, was a little trip to Ft. Lauderdale Beach. SOOOOOO many hot college guys running around in board shorts and sandals. I had to have Matt hold me back and do a "can you see my hardon in these pants?" check VERY often!!

It was nice to get away for a bit to enjoy the ocean, the sun, the sand, and the flesh of Ft. Lauderdale! Alms for the Poor

Well, it sure as hell has been a long time since I last posted. I wish I had something more jovial to discuss today, but frankly, I'm afraid I bring the bad news that the website is in danger of closing down soon due to lack of finances to keep it open and free.

To prevent that first, however, Matt and I are starting to look into ways that users can help support the site if they like it (and I hope you do!). We're trying to find a donations provider that allows donations to adult content websites. If you know of any, please e-mail me! Also, we're investigating some new sponsorships and affiliates that you guys can enjoy, and also help provide some money to cover the ever increasing strain on our hosting budget. I've got a few ideas to raise money.... I just wonder how successful they will be?....

At any rate, look for changes and more info soon on the "support us" link on Jerkoffbuds.com. Until then, enjoy things such as the movie theater, webcams, and personals, and it will help.

The New Year's Post & Resolutions

Ok, so I'm late on wishing everyone a Happy New Year. So, for what it's worth, Happy 2007! I hope this year is your best yet!

Like many people, I set New Year's resolutions late December. I have already given up on one of them (don't jack off as much!), so the only ones left involve being a more studious student (though I make THAT resolution at the start of every new semester).... and to get into better shape. I'm starting THAT one tonight. I have the "Power 90" series by Beachbody.... you've probably seen it on TV. I got good results with it a couple years ago, but I've let myself go. I need to tone back up! So, I'm gonna start the program again, and begin jogging a mile or so every night. I'll check back with you guys from time to time, to report on progress. Maybe I'll even get some "before and after" pics taken. I DID spend some time compiling a nice "Inspiration folder" full of buffed and toned hotties that I will consult for motivation (both before AND after workouts ;-P):

I've decided that exercising more is easier than watching what I eat. I simply love fast food and eating out waaaaaaay too much, so I'll focus more on the work out part than the diet (though I won't ignore it completely, of course!) Speaking of which gentlemen, if you want to lose weight, a guaranteed way is to cut soda out of your diet. If you can't do it entirely, do Diet. Just suck it up. It tastes bad at first but you'll get used to it. Better to enjoy your drink less than drink 900 calories a day, right?

Oh well, I'm off to start my first workout. I'll be sore in the morning, but it'll be worth it. Maybe I'll even take up Pilates again. I was doing that for a good while and got QUITE flexible (if ya know what I mean...... and I think you do!!)

Just a quick note to tell everyone Merry Christmas! Matt and I are heading out to be with family and friends, but Jerkoffbuds.com will of course be open to help you "gift yourself" whenever you need to! SO, at 6AM this morning, after an all-nighter spent in front of the computer, I finally finished my 35 page paper that signalled the end of the semester and a chance for me to RELAX a bit and enjoy all the holiday preparedness/festivitiness that has been going on around me... without me!

It's weird, I don't think my brain has caught on yet that the semester is over and the evil paper (which had been hanging over my head, ever present and nagging me) has been turned in and is done with. Forever. Could I have worked harder on it? Of course. I'm not a very diligent student, and I procrastinate like crazy... but at least now I can focus on more important stuff, like making Jerkoffbuds better for you guys.

I have a BUNCH of ideas. I just don't have the time, money, or know-how to implement them all. Keep your eyes open in the next weeks and months, however, because I am adamant about making at least SOME of them work!

Weekend Getaways

Every now and then Matt and I like to "get away" and leave town for a couple of days. I've definitely been bitten by the travel bug recently, and have decided that I will travel as much as I possibly can (and afford!) while I'm young enough to still enjoy it. I think that in my life I would much rather spend my money on travel than some new gadget or gizmo that I'll forget about years from now. Hell, I'd rather buy a smaller house or car than I could have otherwise in order to finance a fabulous jet set life. All material things fade. Trip memories last forever.

The above photo was taken in our hotel room during mine and Matt's last weekend trip. It was morning and the sun was just coming in through the window. Matt, in all his bare-assed, big-balled glory looked adorably sexy in this shot, so I had to take a pic without him knowing, lol.

I actually have a couple of dirty little photos STILL on my camera phone from past trips this summer. Sometime soon I'll have to figure out how to set my "online account" or whatever with my cell company to allow me to get them OFF the phone and onto the web here. I mean, what's the point of digital photography technology if you're not gonna snap a few pics of your naughty bits, eh? When I do, I'll be sure to write about it.

Ode to Basketball Shorts (and the hotties that wear them!)

Well folks, the websites have been down the past couple days. The webhost says it's a "DOS Attack" on the servers (Denial of Service Attack)..... supposedly he's working diligently to get everything up and running.... but let's all keep our fingers crossed that it happens soon!

It's Raining Men...

It's a rainy, hot, stormy day here, and so I decided to use my "trapped indoors" time today to finally get around to uploading some new vintage pics for you guys. I also found a couple of old pics Matt and I took months back that I never posted, and added them to a couple of pics we took while taking a walk in the woods about a week or so ago. Hope you like them!

These new uploads help push the total number of totally free pics at jerkoffbuds.com to just shy of 11,000!!!!! Like a little mini porn-Louvre, (and you can check my math here, since it's usually wrong) you would have to wank it for about a week straight WITHOUT wandering over to chat or webcam with some hottie or another (oh yeah, and no sleep, food, or bathroom breaks either!) to view every picture on Jerkoffbuds.com for 1 minute each.

In other news, Cody came to visit this past weekend! (Yes we got some new pics, but NO, we're not gonna post them yet!) We're working with him to design a new site concept that should be up and ready within a couple weeks. Watch this space for updates and announcements for it! As for a hint as to what it will involve, let's just say that you guys out there that aren't too fond of twinky types will be happy! ;-)

Ok, so I FINALLY got enough responses to post the latest "How Do You Jerk It" question - thanks to all those who submitted answers!

The CURRENT How Do you Jerk It Question asks YOU, the site user, what YOUR favorite sexual position/activity is. For Matt and I, one of our favorite positions is what we call, "Mongolian Barbecue" -- which is a modified version of 69-ing. Basically, one guy lays flat while the other guy gets on top in a position to suck the dick of the guy on the bottom. Meanwhile, the guy on the bottom rims the hole of the guy on top. If you need a visual reference, just take a look at what the hotties above are doing. It's not rocket science, but it feels reeeealy good!

Why call it "Mongolian Barbecue?" Because we can. AND nobody knows what you're talking about, so you can be dirty at inappropriate times! A couple months ago Matt and I went to a new Chinese Restaurant with a female friend of ours who lives out of town. While remarking about the food, I said off-hand to Matt, "When we get home, we should try some Mongolian Barbecue." Matt knew exactly what I REALLY meant by it, but the female friend of course was in the dark. She informed us that Mongolian barbecue is good and that we would enjoy it.

Hey Buds, I come today asking for some help. You see, I've spent a lot of time developing a new feature for the site, but this new feature will require a lot of resources in bandwidth. The whole point of the feature is that you will be able to download this pretty big files and use them on your computer.

SO.... does ANYBODY out there know where I can host these files for free? We can't afford to host them on our own server, so we need a free host that will allow unlimited transfer with minimal banner intrusions, AND that allows the posting and downloading of .exe extension files. The Morning Wood Faerie Visited This Morning...

UGH! Did you ever wake up with just a RAGING morning wood? Well folks, that's my desperare situation this morning. I don't even remember having a particularly "sexy" dream last night. All I remember is waking up this morning humping the bed!

Now, normally I would never complain about having wood. After all, probably half of my day is spent in an erected state, often in inappropriate places (like the library, lol). The bad part is though that Matt is not here this morning and I don't feel like "Jerking it Alone"!!! (Which, of course, we always advise Jerkoffbuds.com buds NEVER to do!!!!!).

I think if it wasn't for the wonderful world of willing webcam wankers (say THAT 10X fast!), I would die. I think today I'm gonna look for a couple to jerk it with, cause not only do I like to watch, I'm a little exhibitionist myself, lol. There's also something really kinda cool about getting off with a guy from Finland or Denmark, or even on the otherside of the USA, ya know? Spring Break Season is Here!!!

So, tomorrow marks the official Spring Break here and at dozens of other college towns across the US. What does THAT mean? Well, for one, if you are lucky enough to live in a "Spring Break Destination" town, it means there will be PLENTY of hot and horny young men looking to "cut loose."

When I was younger I used to love to watch MTV's Spring Break specials, because of all the half-naked guys walking around on the beach. (What the hell am I talking about, I STILL like to watch it for just that reason!)

I just want to take this opportunity to address some "housekeeping" issues regarding the photopost galleries:

I spend quite a bit of time keeping the galleries "clean" (in a dirty way, of course!) for everyone, but just want to stress that the galleries are for posting pics of guys that are 18 and over ONLY!!! Also, pictures posted that are just AWFUL in quality will have to be deleted, in order to conserve space and resources. I realize that the site focuses on amateur pics, and that often web photo shots are sometimes not the best quality... but there is certainly a limit as to how bad a photo can get, lol! I'd also like to make a friendly reminder to keep photos as small in kb size as possible. Sometimes a photo is posted that is like, 65k, and all I do is resize it by 1% and it goes down to a MUCH more bandwidth friendly size of 30k or so.

Into the Woods...

Alright, just got done editing and posting some of the "private shoot" photos that Matt and I had our friend photograph last week in the woods (he got horny while taking pics of Matt and I, and so I jerked off with him afterwards... but you'll see that in the pics anyway!)

They're quite artistic pics, if I do say so myself, so I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed making them.

Last week I had a bad bad sickness, but yesterday and today I have been feeling much better... so much better, in fact, that I managed to do some site updating today!:

In other news, Matt and I had our friend come over yesterday (he's an amateur photographer) to take some pics of us gettin' down and dirty (literally) in the woods. I just got to do some editing and picking and choosing, and they should be up by the end of the week.

The following is not a picture from that set, but Matt came home with a sticker from a banana and had the brilliant idea to put it on my penis. The result is below:

Speaking of Matt, I've been trying to get him to do his "Ask Matt" update for a while now, but he's been pulling 14 hour days the past couple weeks, and so has understanably not had that much free time. He wants me to apologize, however, because he also lost a few of the Ask Matt questions that have been sent since the last update. If you sent in a question and it hasn't been answered yet, and doesn't show up when Matt finally DOES update.... then sorry to report that it has been lost somewhere! Send it again!

Anyway, I'd also like to remark about my utter disbelief concerning the sheer number of totally free pics there are now on the website: 8753 pics as of this writing.

We've also got 4575 fellow registered jerk off buds... let's hope some of them begin taking part in the discussion, both on the board and in the chat.

Ok, So I've Been Lazy

As you can tell, it's been a while since my last blog update, and even longer since I did anything significant as far as updates to the site.... BUT, you guys have also been lazy, because I don't yet have enough "How do you jerk it?" responses to post a new one yet, and only one author has submitted a story in a while!!

So, don't make me get the whip boys (well, SOME of you out there would probably like that and I think I am just sadistic enough to oblige!!!) Send in them responses!!!!

In other news, I DO have a new feature on the backburner, simmering away that should be available soon. I had a couple of site users test it out, and it looks like it will only work for non-MAC users (It's a .exe extension), so sorry Apple guys! Since you are reading this, you are obviously aware that I have launched this "blog" in order to keep you guys updated. We have also created a new "FAQ" link to answer some of the repeat questions that Matt and I get on a fairly regular basis.
